Thanks for all the tips ladies! I'm having fun making the squares, I just feel like a dummy when it comes to matching up all the colors - I have preggo brain...hahaha! I see other peoples and go "ohhhhh - so gorgeous" but then I can't seem to match them all up for myself. Oh well. I'm sure it's a learning process.

I love the sweater. I'd look around the net for ideas on color schemes that you like. It's hard for me to give advice on that not knowing you or the room. If it were me, I'd throw in another color or two.

I love your color scheme, and I think the blanket will go beautifully with it. I'd leave the brown out, because I think it makes a room more interesting if you don't have the whole color palette in every piece.

Loooooove that sweater, btw. The Baby Yoda has always been my favorite until now - that might give it a run for its money!

I think the best thing about granny square blankets is they can be whatever colors you want (or have available). There doesn't have to be a set color scheme, just have fun. Yours look great. If you have any brown, you may consider throwing in a few squares that have a row of brown in them just to break it up.
