I wish I knew how to knit! I wish I lived near by so our girls could play together while you gave me knitting lessons. :) The cowl is beautiful, especially in that lovely color. Maybe some day I'll get the gumption to pick up some needles and find someone to teach me. Beautiful job!

Which cowl were you making? When in a pattern it states "join in the round taking care not to twist stitches" you have to be really careful to doublecheck before joining that your stitches all lay flat and there are no twists in your cable. If you do this correctly you shouldn't have any problems as you work. Here's a link to a video to show you what I mean:

Okay.. so knitting question. I attempted another cowl on the weekend for the first time and my stitches kept twisting and my entire thing was twisted and I had to take it out. I was so disappointed.. any tips/tricks? I was thinking that maybe the cable is too long for the number of stitches.. does that make a difference? sigh.. thanks in advance for your help.. can't wait to knit up the mallory! :)

hm, no reviews. Googling. I'm starting to get the impression they're fairly new on the scene. They're based in Ontario. I'll order some bamboo, wool, and superwash merino and let you know what I think, if you'd like? Looks like it. It's the same weight (worsted 10ply) and both are wool. They both have the same suggested needle sizes which is good as well. Only thing to be careful is that some 100% wools are scratchy. May be good to check on Ravelry to see what others think of it. Other than that the price is fabulous!
