lmao at your rubbers. Today Nicole slammed her door in a bratfit and Chris said he needed to get some rubber... and then he couldn't remember the word. "Yeah, rubbers would help prevent that problem," I said. "LOL! What, stick them on the door?" "No, I meant that they'd prevent future door-slamming ;) ha"
I have lost my rubbers and I don't know where they went. With my stitch markers I imagine, probably in the kit I carried with me everywhere when I knit up Gigi from Knitty only to discover after a million hours of tiny stitches that Gigi was completely unflattering on me.

Yup, I'm getting sassy and brave as I age ;) I only use a cable needle if I need to cable more than 3 or 4 sts or if the yarn is super slippery...cable needles just slow me down :)

I set up anywhere in my condo that has good light. I purchased two poster board sized sheets of this white fiber board material from Michaels and put one down and one behind it to create an all white background. Super easy and super affordable :) Thank you for your kind words about my pics too...so nice of you!

Ooooh, I love the Elizabeth. I'm usually a no cable needle knitter...I know I live life on the edge. If I ever need to use one I usually just grab an extra dpn...you know my feelings about the magic loop...but I also hate straight needles too :)

Husband bought me the knit picks ball winder a couple years ago and I love it! Though I would love to get me a nice wood one that will hold the large hanks of yarn...someday right?

Love the look and color of your Elizabeth. I haven't knit any Jane Richmond patterns yet, but have Kathleen and a couple others on my queue. She is so talented.

I'm a two-circ girl myself, but sometimes will use dpns as well. It depends on my mood. I'm really not a fan of magic loop, although I'll use it every now and then if desperate, but I always worry I'm stretching out my stitches where I make the loop. To each their own!

I'm also never without ziploc bags in my knitting bags, usually a gallon one for a project. I've had a starbucks spill in my knitting bag in the car before and I try to learn from my mistakes.

Here's a tip for your ladders...don't overtighten your first stitch...pull on the 2nd or 3rd stitch to tighten up when you start. Really helps to avoid those ladders. Also..don't overtighten..keep it natural :)

Love the accessories! And that yarn and pattern...beautiful! Can't wait to see the finish pictures. I used the From Norway with Love pattern for my hat and Knitted Wrist Cozies for my mitts. So fun!! I want to make more now. Hmmm....what to pick?
