to finish getting the kid fall wardrobes ready for school...
to get my new quilt and pillows done for our sofa...

to pick up some mason jars so i can actually use my new awesome "cuppow"!
i've been busy working on a few new tutorials and upcoming sewing and knitting patterns! can't wait to reveal them all too. i'm also hoping to get the leftover goodies from fibrations up in the etsy shop next week. i shipped out a few orders already but there are some rockin' commuter cowls, reversible sock bags, zippered pouches and needlebooks left in case anyone is interested. they are cute, cute, cute! i'm half tempted to just keep em'for myself...lol.
we're hoping to have some family time tomorrow and maybe hit up a pool or beach before the summer has passed us by :) wishing you all a cuppow sipping kind of weekend filled with sunshine (but not sunburns..wink wink), cuddles, laughs, nice seams and good stitches :) see ya on monday m'dears <3

Happy weekend indeed! I mentioned to Rebecca just how great Fridays feel now that Noelle is in school! Next week is their vacation week before "real school" starts on Sept. 3.

DeleteI love your weekend wishes! What I want to know, is how many of your wishes come true? You seem to have so much to pack in to a weekend. I know that with two girls only a little younger I find it hard to achieve much! In awe.
ReplyDeleteHahaha..Anna...if only they all came true! That's why they are called wishes! Some of my wishes are things that I can only dream of and some are realistic. Mostly the things I write about at the end of the post happen and the actual imagery are my "wishes" not just for that weekend but for a long time. It usually means they are on my mind and I'm hoping of achieving them...someday :)
DeleteI do find that writing them out and talking about them keeps them on my mind and it does take me by surprise because a fair amount of them come true. I think it's one of those things where if you put it out into the universe you work towards achieving it without even knowing you are <3
I'm so happy it's Friday as I sit here at my office computer looking at the walls of my very empty cubicle. I start a new job with a new division here at my company on Monday, so I'm planning on using this weekend to recenter myself. Hopefully I can sew some, laugh lots and love much with my husband and son. It wouldn't hurt to make the cake batter truffles that I found a recipe for either.
ReplyDeleteThat little girl is just darling. We are pregnant with baby #1 so no worries about back to school for me. However, I'm getting really excited about the fall (my favorite season!). My wishes for this weekend are to finish the second sleeve of my raglan pullover (yup, started this with the Jane Richmond KAL wayyy earlier this year but got sidetracked with pregnancy) and to get some shelving above my little desk at home. Maybe make some cookies too :) have a nice weekend and I just started following you on Pinterest!

ReplyDeleteThose quinoa burgers are to die for good. I've made them a couple times already. I like them best with zucchini and white/golden quinoa (instead of red). Oh love...need to make them again...soon.
