| suncrest by tanis lavallee (the stella collection) |
the stella collection was inspired by the fact that the "shawls are all unique, like each star in the sky. stella is latin for ‘star’, two shawls are inspired by stars in constellations, and two are inspired by the biggest star of all - the sun"! love it!!
don't they both look stunning? all of the designs except one were modelled by tanis and julie themselves. so purdy!! and i'm proud to say that both of these fabulous ladies are canadian!!! woot woot! gotta show some luv for my fellow canadians!!!
when my pal tanis asked me to join in on their blog tour i of course said YES!!! i knew you guys would love these patterns as much as i do. i can't wait to knock some more wip's off my list so i can make a suncrest for myself. i also knew that i just had to show off some pics of all of these projects! wanna see? ready to get inspired? here's the stella collection....

ReplyDeleteI just LOVE Tanis yarns (the fibers are sumptuous and her sense of color is amazing!). I really like this shawl collection and I already picked my yarn for an Adhara (from Tanis, of course!). Next will be Suncrest and Solaria!
