i plan on hanging out with my girls at knit night, working on a few new patterns and tutorials, getting things ready for our next kal announcement (next week people), drinking lots of yummy coffee and having a great time with the family. in between all that i have to do a huge clean/organization of our condo and really don't know when i am going to find the time so there may be a few late nights here. anyone know any free maids??? a girl can try right? lol!
wishing you all a good pals, lots of laughs, crafty projects, coffee/tee & snuggle filled weekend. what are you up to? are you burning the candle at both ends too? what projects do you hope to work on this weekend? fill me in..it's friday <3

Oh that pyrex pic gave me an itch to run to the thrift store! Do you think the kids would notice if I abandoned them for a little bit???? ;)
ReplyDeleteCan I join ya?? lol!
Deletei have that camera bag, it is fantastic!! sounds like you have a great weekend planned! i will be burning the candle at both ends. I am throwing my best friend a surprise bridal shower sunday. it has been so hard keeping it a secret i just had to spill it here :) lots of food and crafty things to still make, i am so excited!!
ReplyDeleteOooh! I'm obsessed with those crocheted hangers, I gotta try that! Thanks for the inspiration. :) Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteFun right? I need to do this but always seem to forget that I mean to. Really need to bump it up the project list :) Hope you have a great weekend too.
DeleteI'm going out with Husband tonight...so excited. Thaddeus turns two tomorrow and all I want to do is spin. I even dreamt about spinning last night...addicted? YES! You know I think I just heard him ask for roving wool for his birthday right?
ReplyDeleteI. Can. Not. Wait. for. the. NEXT. KAL! Please, please pretty please don't keep me waiting too long :) I'm going through withdrawls here ;)
I hope you have a fantastic weekend and that you find a little crafting time and a little organization time. I am off to go clean the bathroom...I know you're jealous ;)
Hahahahah, Buffy...it's coming..don't worry :)
DeleteSo glad you are having so much fun with spinning! Sounds so fun! And happy bday to your little man :)
I needs to get my hands on The Hunger Games! I would really rather read the books before I see the movie ... I must find some yarn for my 4 yr old's next sweater, and other than that I will be continuing to re-knit my Rocky Coast Cardi (sob)and looking for another pattern to cast on. Can't wait for the KAL announcement!!!
ReplyDeleteOhhh I wish I had a teapot now, think it would be weird if I made one for my kettle hehe.
ReplyDeleteThis weekend I must finish a cardigan I have been crocheting for the last 2 months, terrible!
xx
am i the only one who has no clue what the hunger games are? guess i better crawl out from this rock im under:) have a great weekend. im hoping to get some sewing done right now...its naptime:)
ReplyDeleteChristina the hunger games is a trilogy of books that just came out as a movie. Very popular and a good read if you're into that sort of series. Hope you got some sewing done :)
DeleteGah! I wish I could see the Hunger Games!
ReplyDeleteYou were in my dream last night (don't freak) but we were hanging out downtown, yarn shopping, and shooting espresso. No lie. Then I woke up to Noelle screeching that "the carrot goes on TOP, not the BOTTOM"...talk about crashing down to reality.
I'm going to knit like crazy this weekend so I can finish the Twiggy sweater before it becomes totally unnecessary to wear a sweater outside.
hope you have a good weekend!
Muahahahah...Hannah..you crack me up. I so wish that dream was real :) How nice would that be? <3
DeleteCannot wait to see your Twiggy sweater....it's gonna be AWESOME!
Guuuuuh. I want to get out to the thrift store again soon. It's just so unpleasant with violet.
ReplyDeleteYou must report on the hunger games! I'm so excited even though I can't see it in the theater. The previews get my stomach all nervous.
This weekend is probably going to be devoted to further decluttering and home repair. And somewhere in there I would love to finish my freaking sailboat tops! My dreams of all the spring clothes I was going to make are floating away. But what does it matter when spring never showed up? It's been in the 80s here recently! So weird!
My first weekend wish is to get this crazy cute little baby (ok little toddler)to finish nursing to sleep so I can go have my Friday wine. Hehe.
I really like the gal pal photo above. Sweet. Happy Weekend!
ReplyDeletei wish i could keep my eyes open long enough to do some reading... but i have been working some late nights finishing off a friends shower gift (see my FB for pics) and during daylight hours i was moving around the furniture, vacuuming dust bunnies and playing at the park. right now i'm gonna do some simple no thinking required hooking whilst watching re-runs of Gilmore Girls :)
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling like I need to go out and buy a cute teapot so that I can knit a tea cozy! Love them. I also like the idea of an egg cozy, but I eat them as soon as I cook them! LOL!
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I did over the weekend was see The Hunger Games----so I'm wishing for a free made right about now as well....
ReplyDeleteliZ

ReplyDeleteI love that camera bag, it is fantastic!
