that all you ladies are cozied up in your new handmade cowls...
to remember to get my pumpkin groove on next year...
to drink a whack load of coffee...
to whip up a few of these...love...
to celebrate a friend's bday...
to be able to do pee alone again one day...
to get my new hat done at knit night...
and to pull a rockstar & finish harper's quilt at modern sewing group this weekend.
it's a pretty craft filled weekend wishes this week ladies. that's because my upcoming weekend is bursting to the seams with handmade goodness! i love it when that happens :) i've got my 2nd lesson on "poppy the pfaff" and knit night tomorrow and then on sunday i have modern sewing group! can we say yee haw!!!! i have a big list of to do's so all this crafting this weekend will hopefully allow me to cross a few goodies off my list.
i also have a goal of snuggling up on the couch one night to watch a movie with the hubs. sounds silly but i am quite determined to make this happen. with the hubs studying and me blogging at night it makes it hard to turn off all the other electronics and just enjoy a movie together. so i say bring on the rain, i'm turning on the fireplace, making happy hot chocolates and curling up with my best friend for some laughs :)
what are you all up to this weekend? what did you get crafted this week? are any of you as starved for privacy in the bathroom as me? have you made some headway on your xmas pressie making? wishing you all a snuggly, comfy and happy weekend :) come chat :)
p.s. - make sure you head on over to "olive bungalow" for the awesome, giant 20% off sale (use code LMH20)! you've got till midnight tomorrow night and there's free shipping (on orders over $75) too!

hey - first one to comment! I've started crafted Christmas gifts - I'm trying to get a lot of things done since I'm doing 30 days of tutorials, starting Tuesday - and luckily, quite a few of them are already done.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to START a cowl, for myself! Watch football, have some soup and do a little trick or treating at our local zoo- they call it BOO at the ZOO. Yay weekend!
ReplyDeleteO. M. G. That knitted "paper" chain. I have to have one. But I don't knit! Won't someone make me one and put it on Etsy???
ReplyDeleteP.S. My husband bought me that necklace when it was going around a while back. I loved it so much until my mother asked me if it was a hairdresser's necklace. My mom can ruin things sometimes.
ReplyDelete@Jenny
ReplyDeleteit's crochet - and I'll do it!
omg, YES, someday I WILL pee alone again! every time I do try to shut the fricking door they use toys to pound on it, or Violet sticks her fingers under the door like a cat. LOL.
ReplyDeleteI'm laughing at the pee thing with a weary, defeated laugh because it is literally impossible to keep my girls out of the bathroom if they are determined to get in there.
ReplyDeleteA) they are little tanks b) the bathroom lock is worthless piece of junk.
This weekend I will be finishing my Gap-tastic cowl...um, yeah. So I lied a little about being done with cowls. It was such a wretched rainy day yesterday so what is the best therapy? Casting on of course!
Hope your wishes all come true, esp. the cuddles with the hubs, I know how important that is!
xoxo
@bless - happy crafting hun!
ReplyDeleteAnon - Love that...boo at the zoo!
jenny - it's awesome hey! so glad bless is willing to help ya out :) If it doesn't pan out and you really do want one let me know..I have a friend who would sell ya one no probs.
@Tara - Isn't that the truth. Mine are the same way. So nuts..before I got preggers who would have thought this would be a problem? But oh...I miss peeing alone.
@Hannah - So true! And look at you go with another cowl girl! You are hilarious! Is this #5 or 6??? Love it!
Haha being a mom REALLY does make you appreciate things that you would have never thought about! I miss doing my makeup without my daughter sticking her fingers in my eyeshadow!
ReplyDeleteI will be spending the weekend celebrating because we found out today my husband passed the bar exam (HOLLA!!!) and I am going to finish sewing my new baby's blessing dress.
Hope you have an awesome weekend!
Love the "just want to pee alone" card.... so stinkin' funny & true!!! I wish they had it in poster size, I would frame it and hang in my sewing room:)
ReplyDeletelove the crochet paper chain might just be the next project.. got two birthdays coming up.
ReplyDeletethings are very chilly here too... gonna heat it up with some spicy curry for the hubs :)
Thanks for inspiring me to do the same with my husband--if I don't fall asleep before the boys do. :)
