  2. i love that first one, the gaptastic cowl. i'm decided :) i told my hubby i was doing this and he said something smart about me not stating our son's halloween costume yet. i told him i was going to stop cleaning the house :) seems fair.

  4. Oh I will be crocheting since I can't seem to grasp knitting. It makes me very sad because there are so many beautiful knitting projects maybe I will work with my knook (see it here http://www.leisurearts.com/how-to-knook )!!!

Any advice for me with knitting it just doesn't seem to make sense?!

  10. I want to join, but I am not sure. Of course then I see all the gorgeous options. I have knit a darkside cowl, the autumn orange cowl, the dolores cowl, and the Tuesday Night Cowl. I gifted one of those. So, I have three cowls and live in AZ where the temperature is supposed to hit 100 by the weekend. Perhaps I could try crocheting one for a bit of spice. Oh, why must you tempt me!

Proud Mama - what about the rae? i'm doing my 2nd one right now and it's very light weight and perfect for warmer weather. It's also fun to knit! And I love tempting you..lol!

  12. Signing up since I had so much fun with the last one. Now to figure out which pattern would be best for the MIL (can't be super-girly, though). Combining the KAL with getting a Christmas present done = win! :)

  16. Totally doing this knit along. I signed up for the summer one and with the two kiddos, time just got away from me =( Selected something simple (that I have been wanting to make anyway) to complete. Though I will be crocheting because I'm still too nervous about knitting anything but a scarf =)

  18. Oh, I am so glad we're doing this!!! I am totally excited. I've wanted to knit the herringbone cowl forever, but them I saw all your other wonderful suggestions and I panicked for a moment...what if....but NO, I am sticking with my first choice! I however added most of your others to my favorites on Ravelry. Ready to go! I hope I can finish in time though.

  19. I'm definitely going to have to join in, especially since I'm still kicking myself for not joining the summer sweater KAL! All of those cardigans looked so great! I'm thinking the Breckenridge cowl would be perfect for some yarn i've got stashed that has been waiting for something cool...
