to get cracking on making some knee high boot socks...
to continue to be inspired by the classics...
to get my collection of jars prettied up...
and to get caught up on my sewing.
hi you guys. just popping in with a quick weekend wishes. i've missed you all this week and i've missed poppy the pfaff. i haven't sewn since last friday :( it's killing me. i have been knitting a ton though so that's been fab and very relaxing. thanks for all of your well wishes. my head is still hurting and i'm still not feeling that great but my doctor said that post concussion syndrome can take anywhere from weeks to months before you start to feel better. here's hoping it will be sooner than later for me.
i'm dragging myself out to knit night come hell or high water. i missed last week and i need it bad. it's been a very, very hard week taking care of the kids by myself while the hubs has been studying for his exam today all while recovering from a concussion. man oh man what i wouldn't give for a nanny..haha. i have to admit going to bed early has helped me catch up on some much needed sleep though. y'all know i'm a late night blogger :)
i'm hoping you all had fab weeks and wishing you all an equally as fabulous weekend filled with sewing, knitting, yummy treats, cozy fall breezes, cuddles and laughs. looking forward to catching up with you all next week.
what have you been crafting this week? any new projects on the go? what are your weekend wishes? come share, it will help me ignore the construction workers drilling concrete outside my window....sooooo loud :(

yay for weekend wishes! i am soooo wanting to come to knit night this week! i've missed you so much!! i'm gonna bring my plucky yarn.
ReplyDeletemiss you! xx
I love you weekend wishes posts I look forward to them every week! I'm sorry you still aren't feeling better!! I hope you get to feeling better soon!!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh! So sorry you're not back to your normal self! I'm still ticked at that first doctor…you know next time (well, prayerfully there won't be a next time) you HAVE to go see a doctor make sure they know you have a very popular blog and that should they fail to diagnose something so serious they'll have a boat load of women showing up to kick some serious arse!
ReplyDeleteOkay, rant over…I love that Rae, though I do think it is funny that the pic looks better on my phone I see more of the color nuances in it then the larger picture. I think you should wear the turquoise helmet and just because I have to try and make you laugh there is a house in town that I pass frequently that has TWO turquoise chairs on the front deck…everytime I pass by I think about stealing them for you but I don't not because it would be wrong but because I can't figure out how in the heck I'd get them too you!
Have a great weekend!
{{hugs}}
Buffy
what a surprise to see weekend wishes!! yay!
ReplyDeleteyou need to take the weekend off lady, cozy up, watch some movies, take naps and get the hubs to give you a pedi.
just relax....
Get well soon! I've had two concussions but I was much younger then. I did once have to be "babysat" right after a concussion by an ex-boyfriend because I couldn't be left alone and no one else was available. We watched a movie and fought about it.
ReplyDeleteFor my weekend I wish to hie me to Knitten' Kitten and have good luck there finding fabrics, and to the PSU market for apples and honey. I wish the laundry to wash itself, and I wish for inspiration for a wall hanging quilt project for my Mom.
Hope you're back to old self again soon!!!
ReplyDeleteLove weekend wishes! And especially love the knee socks and prettied jars =)
We FINALLY have some fall weather here in PA so we are taking the kiddos to a fall festival as soon as the youngest wakes up from a nap. And then I am looking forward to some knitting with my 4yo later today. She can cast on and that's about it. At least it's something. I will get a chance to work on a crocheted necklace for my sis' birthday!
Have a great weekend! And keep taking care of yourself =) That Knit Night will actually be healthy for you because it will give you time to relax away from the kiddos. And every mom needs that!
