i'm looking forward to the weekend.  the hubs has lots of studying and exams coming up so this is our last weekend without him being gone cramming.  we're hoping for some more sunshine so we can get our beach time in when we can.  we're also hoping to check out some pirate fun at a local festival this weekend, as well as pool party today and some good friends to hang with tonight to cheer on our fave team - the vancouver canucks of course!!!

i'll be working on getting my legwarmers done at knit night so i'm free to start my sweater for the KAL next week.  i've also got a whole bunch of sewing i'm working on and some fun theme days next month coming up!  yippee!  you excited?  i am.  lots of sewing and knitting goodness coming your way folks!

what are you up to this weekend?  are you watching the stanley cup playoffs too?  you a bruins or a canucks fan?  what are you crafting?  let's chat ladies!

p.s. don't forget to get your entry in for the fabulous knit bot (hannah fettig) pattern giveaway!

  2. Our dryer has been broken for a week or two, so I have been hanging our laundry to dry. It loses its charm after a while! :) I do enjoy the time alone outside, it's probably the best part.

I love the crochet foot pretties, I have to find a pattern like that!

  3. I have been enjoying your blog for a bit now. I am so loving your pinterst pics in this post. Hope you don't mind but I repinned a few. Hockey is the best isn't it! Alas we are rooting for the Bruins...sorry... but we are loving watching the best sport ever and the two best teams this year playing it. Good luck to you and yours :)

  7. Hoping to wrap up a shirt I've been sewing. It is my first attempt at pattern sewing. Before this, I was just a "wing-it" kinda gal. Hope it fits!! Love your pics and hope you get to enjoy the beach. So wish we could except for the fact that I live 12 hrs from the nearest coastline :(

  8. This weekend is about sewing, cleaning and relaxing. I've got 4 purses to finish up for friends and the house has seen cleaner days. I won't be watching the hockey games though because sadly, I'm a die hard Habs fan and they were knocked out in the first round. And (sorry to say it) I just can't bring myself to cheer for either Vancouver or Boston. Maybe I'll watch a little Community. :) Have a great weekend!

  9. I have been a knitting and sewing crazy woman lately with a new baby girl on the way and four good friends having babies within weeks of my little ones arrival. Wish I could be part of the sweater knit along, but way too many other projects ahead of that:(
I am currently working on an embroidered, Sunbonnet Sue quilt for my little girl. It's coming along slowly, but I am not losing motivation so it should be done before she gets here:)
Love the idea of hanging clothes to dry and all of your beautiful pyrex makes me want to garage sale more:)
