to add some yummy colored bowls to my collection...

to be wrapped up in handmade goodness (dottie angle style) and sleep the whole weekend...

to find a table like this...

oh my gosh are you seriously dying over that teatoaster teapot? how cool is that? i feel like breakfast would never be boring with that teapot kicking around. i could definitely use that kind of pick me up in the mornings lately. man oh, man am i tired. pooped. exhausted. worn out. lots of things going on and not enough time to do them all...story of our lives right ladies? we've just had so much stuff happening at home and with the hubby not around and the kids not sleeping...ever...i'm just plain sleepy. sorry to whine a bit, but i just had to get it out of my sleep deprived system.

i'm hoping to see my hubby this weekend. even a few hours would be good. i think i might even sacrifice sleep for it. i'm also hoping to reunite with the sewing machine. i've got a fun project on the go. i'm also working on another project for the blog that has had me wishing for a fairy craftmother. aiayayya, it's had me banging my head but i refuse to give up. i can't wait to show you all the finished products!

next week i've got some fun stuff planned for the blog too! i've got two guest posts of mine going on for monday and a few other goodies lined up! one of them is a tutorial!!! yippee!!! you excited? i hope so. i'm so excited i might just do some more baking and i don't even really like baking. anyone wanna come for coffee and cookies :P

what's your weekend plans? how was your week? i want to know what you're up to! sewing? knitting? crocheting? leave me a comment and let's chat :)

  3. yes please, cookies and coffee! yummmm.... I'm planning on some weekend baking myself, just cause ;) a girl needs a little treat to be productive, right? Things have been busy on this end too... Tell me, why can't there be at least 30hrs in the day, and why i can't just be fine with only 2 nights sleep a week? :)

  4. I love those coasters!!
I am in the process of knitting an afghan (blankets typically take me on average 2 years to finish - I get bored easily), also waiting on fabric in the mail to make new kitchen curtains and a spring-time tote! :)
    Hope you get some sleep!

  5. aww, you should line up another thinger like you did for you 'mat leave' when you had a whole bunch of guest posts, give yourself a bit of a break to take some extra naps in ): Wish you were nearby, I could make off with the kiddos for an afternoon and demand you take a long bath and a nap!

  6. Poor thing. You really do sound pooped, and since you never sound so tired on your blog I'm guessing these are special circumstances. I recently read a book called Loving the little Years. I recommend it for when you're tired. It makes you feel like you're doing a good job AND tells you to better. Really a good read.
Well, I'm trying to finish a yellow corduroy skirt bEfore my mom and sis cOme visit on Monday. Also I have two tees I want to revamP ala TeaRoseHome. Plus I'm drooling over all the great Boy stuff. Mine are 9,3, & 4 months. I'm from Houston so the weather is perfect but dont worry we'll get our turn to suffer this summer.
Hope you have a better day!

These posts always make me readjust my thinking :-)

Sewing and more sewing this weekend! My head is spinning with designs I need to get down! Ooh and some girlfriends and wine tonight!

    Enjoy your weekend!

  13. I was hoping to get a jump start on the weekend and get our entryway painted tonight (it's currently painted "old person dark beige"), but I am just too exhausted after dealing with a strong-willed little girl today. Maybe just some sewing to relax....

  15. crossing my fingers that the hubby will take the kids to see his mum for a few hours - which will give me time to sneak some chocolate, sew some ruffle skirts, some rhinos, some pants.... or is that just a hopeful dream.

  16. yum, avocado! I would love to bust out my sewing machine over the weekend too. I at least hope to cut into my hubby's old work shirts for a quilt, he had his last day at his miserable old job yesterday!
Oh yeah, and the sleep thing... wee man is cutting teeth and we had our worst night yet, waking up scream crying every 45mins :(
