weekend wishes is a short one today folks. our weekend wish is to have our mackenize get well soon. i've been busy taking care of my little girl - she's come down with a nasty case of the croup. we'll be resting up, crossing our fingers for lots of sleep, good health and snuggles galore.

ReplyDeleteoh sweetie, we must stop being friends my baby is getting croup through the computer from yours:) we spent all night at the ER with the baby the other night. finally after 4 treatments she was a little better and they sent us home. blah! it is so scarey, and there is not much we can do about it. in my experience with it, the shots we got the other night (a one timer) worked much better then the oral med (three day deal) and she didn't have as many reactions to it. the oral med make her CRAZY! hang in there sweetie, we will be thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteUgh! Mine have had croup - but mildly - no er visits, and only the steroid liquid. Funny thing was that last time we were at the doctors for it, the nurse, in all seriousness, said "If she's coughing real bad at night and you don't feel like taking her outside, just stick her head in the freezer."
ReplyDeleteI wanted to laugh because it sounded so funny, but she isn't the kind of nurse you laugh at. I'm hoping she doesn't give that same advise to someone a little low on the IQ scale!

Sounds like we have had the same kind of week... I've got three sickies over here, and no let up in sight. Praying that all of these poor kids (yours included) are feeling well soon! Croup is no fun, poor Mack!
