  1. My kids are just now better, but they were sick for 5 WEEKS!!! That nasty cough, fevers, running noses, no sleeping...I thought I was going insane! Hang in there...surely yours won't be sick much longer! Grab a big cup of coffee and some blankets and let Pixar help you out today! xo

  2. Sorry you were dealing with sickness all around, my Ellie is also sick. I'm just counting the minutes until Noelle catches it. This drat winter needs to be over already! Warm hugs, coffee for mom and animal "cwackas" seem to help us, hope you all feel better soon!
Lucy's lovely blog, attic24.typepad.com, always cheers me up when I read it. You might already know about it, if not, I'm sure you will luv it. That and the sartorialist.

  4. Aw, hope everyone is feeling better soon, and for good this time! Wishing you lots of sleep and homemade chicken noodle soup! We've had some sore throats and coughs and flushed faces around here but nothing serious so far. Sickies keep threatening us with fists shaken but nothing serious is settling in. Lucky, though... half my friends have or their kids have pnemonia, bronchitis, croup, etc etc. Winter is always nasty!

  6. Well, I'm not *exactly* sick, just VERY pregnant (38 weeks) and sooooooo ready to have this baby. So the last couple weeks have been pretty miserable for me. I'm super excited about the baby, but I've reached that wonderful "everything is uncomfortable" point and I'm just ready to have her here!! The Dr keeps getting my hopes up at my appointments saying that he thinks she'll be here any second, but so far, no luck :( Oh, and my toddler decided to have a puke a thon last night while her dad wasn't home to help out. I have had the worst gag reflex with this pregnancy, and it was everything I could do to get her cleaned up and in the bath without losing it myself!! Roll all that up with the fact that I'm having *at least* a couple hours worth of contractions every day (and have been for the last 2 weeks) and I can safely say, I understand your suffering!! I hope you and the kiddos are up and running soon. We too suffered with the croup bug last year, it's no fun!
Can't wait to see the new tutorial...I need something to distract me from the whole NOT having a baby thing :)

  7. @Christina Awwww, that stage is the worst. I remember it fondly hahaha. I had the contractions for 2 weeks regularly as well. It's exhuasting! top that off with a sick toddler and well.....it sucks. You need some serious tlc. Get that hubs of yours to give you some pampering. Pick up a new project to take your mind off of the ever looming due date. Pretty soon your new baby will be here and all the suffering will long be forgotten :) Oh man I miss that new baby feeling. Can't believe Harper is gonna be 9 months. Feels like she was just born.

  8. hopefully your on the mend, ugh! the baby is feeling better but is still waking with the croupy cough at times, but its manageable (spelling?) this time. what isnt manageable, is all this dang snow!! the hubby had surgery on his hand so i have to do all the shoveling and cleaning off the roofs. can you saw like 3 feet in 2 weeks. as you can tell it is no longer my favorite thing. hang in there and can't wait to see this new tute...im on the seat of my chair!! take care sweetie:)

  9. I had a terrible week last week, too. My kids weren't sick, but everything else seemed to pile on us at once. Oh, how I hope this week goes better!

  10. Oh, I hope you and your little ones are better very soon. We had a sick week here last week - my son had temp so high we almost had to hospitalize him for it and then got cellulitis in his eye! Crazy, and left us tired and ready for a new week for sure. That's the part of mommyhood that can be the hardest for me - not being able to make my little ones better, but being so tired myself. And now I see that you are on twitter! I'm off to find you and start following you on there as well! Best wishes to you and your family!

  11. Christina - Ugh...I hope that snow goes soon. I'm done with winter and we dont' even have snow. Here's to healthy babies and warmer weather :)

Jocelyn - I hate those kinds of weeks. I felt like I was really tested this week. There just wasn't enough of me to go around and I didn't have it in me to get everything and everyone taken care of. I felt really overwhelmed. It was a tough one. Hope you have a better week this week too.

Sarah - Oh no...that's horrible. I hope he's doing better now. That sounds so scary! I'll be looking for your twitter follow :)

  12. Feel better soon! We've been sick around here as well, but it's so cold outside it doesn't really matter because I hate going anywhere in this weather, ha ha!

I wish I could get hubby to pamper me, but he's almost as stressed as I am between full time work and full time school! I'm super lucky though, my mom lives about 10 minutes away, so when I need a break, she's here in a heartbeat! I did find a little project to pass the time though...my best friend is putting together some "birth kits" to send to Haiti and I'm helping with that. It's hard to be in a grumpy mood when you're sewing little blankies and stuffed animals for newborns! At this point, I'll take anything that keeps my mind off the "when is this kid going to get here?!?!" clock!!
