when i started planning this month's theme "comfy sews VS cozy knits" i knew in my head right off the bat that ysolda teague's patterns had to come into play. to put it mildly i am a huge fan! when i think of cozy knits ysolda immediately comes to my mind. her patterns are unique, fun, modern and of course, cozy! when i first discovered the world of blogs a long time ago ysolda's was one of the knitting blogs i started following. since then i have continued to be inspired by her work.

ReplyDeletelastly, I joined your group on FB!
ReplyDeletethanks again!
Oh man. I love so many of her patterns.
ReplyDeleteI love the Coraline sweater. I'd knit that in either grey or mustard yellow or maybe brown.
I also love the damson shawl. I'd knit that in a dark grey-purple yarn I saw at my LYS the other day (to go with a dress I'm going to make)
I also love the Ishbel shawl. I'd probably knit that in either grey, yellow, or green.
And finally the Snapdragon Tam and matching gloves. I love the sample color. I'd probably be boring and make it in that color. Or maybe peacock blue.
I have been drooling over her patterns all week on Ravelry. I was so excited to see this give away. I didn't even need to look up her patterns.
I think it may be past my skill-level, but the Little Birds sweater is AMAZING. I'd make mine with orange birds and turquoise leaves!
ReplyDeleteI love the Tiny Shoes
