and before you ask, yep, that's right, i'm wearing horizontal stripes. the top is a hand me down from my baby sis and i figured hey, why not, it's the only time in my life i would dare, and i mean dare, to wear these damn stripes cause you all know a girl who's got curves don't need no lines showing how wide they are...haha. it was in my "to be refashioned for mack" pile when i thought hey, it's stretchy and not too warm, i'm putting this baby on, and yes, i wore it out in public too - it's just been that kind of week.

wishing you all a wonderful weekend with a bit of a break from the kids giving you a chance to put your feet up, do some crafting, reading, napping or whatever else does your heart good kind of weekend.what are your plans this weekend? you as tired as i feel? let's commiserate...haha.
p.s. ok my loyal readers...there's only 2 days left to vote for lil'ol me...we're so close, yet so far away...i'm up against some stiff competition...so i need your help. please send a little vote my way for "the lovelies". it's fast and easy, just a simple comment or tweet will do, just follow the link below to show your love. i'll be crossing my fingers :) for those who have already voted - love ya!

You look SO BEAUTIFUL pregnant! Well, I don't know you so I don't know how beautiful you are when NOT pregnant, but I just LOVE your belly shots and your gorgeous, pregnant figure!
ReplyDeleteYour little girl is pretty adorable too!
Love the belly shots! I just bought a shirt with horizontal stripes. I figured when else can you get away with them?! :) This weekend I am going to be doing some painting and repurposing of some furniture items. I have been sanding the last couple of days and now it's on to the painting and staining. Hopefully with some help from the hubby I'll have some pictures up next week. :)
ReplyDeleteBeccalynn - Awww, thanks! You made my month...hahaha! That's so sweet of you to say, thanks for your comment.
ReplyDeleteMauri - Yippee for the stripes! You'll have to get a pic of you in it so we can compare...haha. Too bad we don't live closer we could go out together with our stripy shirts and preggo bellies!
Can't wait to see your furniture when it's done! Sounds fun!
You really rock the stripes, I love it! I'm off to paint my ugly bathroom cupboards...hopefully they'll be less ugly when I'm finished!
ReplyDeleteI have pictures of my twin belly in a horizontal striped shirt too, see some here! I guess when you are pregnant it's a great time to emphasize the bump!
ReplyDeleteYou look gorgeous and I love the belly! Mackenzie looks adorable as always! Enjoy the baby belly because it will be gone before you know it!
Meredith - Good luck with your cupboards! I'm sure it will look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteMisha - Your belly looked so precious! So gorgeous! thanks for the sweet words :)
You look GREAT momma!!! So great you make me miss my belly for 1/4 of a second ;)
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great, relaxing weekend!
We have Jack's last basketball game and I hope to do some organizing done in the house while my husband is home to entertain the new princess. She is quite demanding of my time these days so the house is a complete disaster. Oh, and I hope to finish my knitting project from my first lesson, a baby washcloth.
BTW- can't believe you are already 30 weeks!
Jocelyn - Hahahaha, I love that 1/4 of a second...hilarious. I hope you have a relaxing weekend too. Your new little girl is so gorgeous! You should see my house as well, you are not alone in that department my dear and I don't even have the newborn yet to make an exuse for my lack of housekeeping. I'm just tired!
ReplyDeleteHow's the knitting going? I'm excited that you started. Let me know if you need any help and don't forget to join Ravelry. My name is "imstitched" on there if you want to add me as a friend.
There was a newspaper report here in the UK a couple of years ago that said the whole horizontal stripes thing was a myth and they actually make you look slimmer! I think you look fantastic in that top!

Love your beauriful bump! The stripes show it off so much more ;D
ReplyDeleteAnd That first photo of your little girl is SO BEAUTIFUL!
Just found your blog and I'm right there with ya! I am 32 wks pregnant this week and also have low iron and also have a 3 yr old little girl (when does your little girl turn 3?)... It's difficult lugging around the belly everywhere isn't it? Congrats and good luck to you!
ReplyDeleteNicole
Rachel - that's hilarious! i'm going to remember that the next time i spot a cute striped shirt i like :)
ReplyDeleteMax California - Thanks hun! That's so sweet of you.
Nicole - Yippee, someone to commiserate with! That sucks that you have low iron as well. It's a pain hey? Did you get the swollen legs and ankles as well? My little one turns 3 in April and yes, it is difficult lugging the belly around trucking after a busy, busy toddler..I'm glad to hear you understand, some days I just feel like I'm being whiny/lazy and then remember I'm preggo..haha. Congrats to you as well!
Gorgeous mama!! You're definitely rocking that shirt!!
ReplyDeleteAlso, congrats on the lovelies win!
Desiree - Thanks hun! I'm happy with 2nd place overall! So exciting! congrats to you as well, you did good too!
