moments in the mommyhood - whale of a good time!
on our recent vancouver getaway one of our top priorities when we were there was to take mackenzie to the vancouver aquarium. i knew we were going to have fun, but man oh, man, we really had fun. i think we were there for at least 3 hours and enjoyed the beluga and dolphin show. on of our fave things to check out was the 4D theatre - now seriously, this thing was cool. nope, not just cause it was 4D but because you also got wet, got shook, the theatre filled with bubbles, your seat vibrated, you smelt things and i swear the whales were close enough to touch. here's the pics from our little adventure, sorry to bore you with animal shots, but hey, who doesn't love a little animal pic here and there?

Sounds like a lot of fun. I've been to the aquarium in Monterey, California and it is a pretty big one but the Vancouver one sounds awesome. I love the jelly fish picture!

I've only been to the aquarium once, but I LOVED the sea otters. They're my favourite. :)

Mauri - Thanks! It was fun! I can't wait to go back again.
ReplyDeleteLaurie Anne - They are definitely relaxing and peaceful, that is as long as your child isn't having a fit..haha. We had a brief episode due to tiredness, but other than that it was very calming and fun. A giant wall sized fish tank sounds fab!

Alison - Sea otters are hilarious and very under rated. I couldn't get any good pics of them, thus the lack of sea otter pics. They are fun to watch :)

fabulous photos! looks and sounds like a wonderful holiday. i love turtles and i agree aquariums are so soothing.
