i caved in and finally bought myself one giant bad ass beach hat. i know it's pink, bright fuchsia pink (i think) but i love it anyways. i feel a bit reminiscent of julia roberts aka the rodeo drive scene. i keep putting this hat on and trotting around the house in front of jer singing pretty woman....yes, i am that much of a loser :)
i do love this color for the summer though. i found myself picking up not one, but two tanks in this color and have been enjoying that extra zing in my normally black/brown wardrobe. so all you ladies out there, join in me in breaking up the monotony of our mommy lives and don your big ass beach hats, crank up the roy orbison below and shake what your momma gave you....yeah, yeah, pretty woman....
Love the hat! Where are you going to wear it? I wish I could pull off a hat, but with short hair I feel like a man. :) And we have no beach. (Indiana) Although now I'm just wondering where I could try it! I think you look great!
I love the hat! I wish I could wear a hat too, but I think I'll look like a basketball with a hat on. I have a really big head. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with pink! I have a predominately black and jeans wardrobe, so I always try to add a splash of color wherever I can...usually I try to make that a splash of pink! So I think it's a fabulous choice of color!! ;)
Mommafo - I bought the hat to wear full on diva style at the beach! I have sensitive and very pale skin so I need to keep my face covered during those lazy beach days. We are going on holidays soon and I was worried about all the sun exposure and thought the hat was perfect for the job. And yes, SilverLining the price was just right! You can't beat $9! Thanks for the pink support Melissa...I get nervous about wearing color sometimes, it's nice to know others love pink too!
